Texture, body, and authentic fruit character

  • Natural fruit consistency
  • Ready-to-use ingredient
  • Adds texture, body, and mouthfeel
  • Delivers balanced fruit flavor
  • Versatile across beverages, bakery, dairy, sauces, and more

FRUIT PUREE CONCENTRATE

Best for:

Intensified flavor and formulation flexibility

  • Water partially removed

WHAT IS FRUIT PUREE CONCENTRATE?

Fruit puree concentrate is produced by carefully removing a portion of the water from fruit puree, resulting in a product with a higher concentration of fruit solids, flavor, and natural fruit characteristics.

By reducing water content, manufacturers can achieve stronger fruit impact while lowering shipping costs, reducing storage requirements, and improving production efficiency.

AFP Fruit Puree Concentrates are processed and packaged aseptically to help preserve quality, maintain consistency, and support commercial manufacturing applications.

How is it produced?

Our fruit purée concentrates begin with carefully selected fruit that is washed, inspected, refined, and homogenized. A low-temperature evaporation process increases the concentration of fruit solids to the desired °Brix before the product is sterilized and aseptically packaged, providing a consistent, shelf-stable ingredient for commercial food and beverage manufacturing.

What does Brix mean?

Brix is a measurement of dissolved solids in a product. Concentrates contains a higher concentration of fruit solids than single-strength fruit puree.

How is fruit puree concentrate different from fruit puree?

Single-strength puree contains its natural water content, while concentrate has a portion of that water removed to increase fruit solids and flavor concentration.

Can fruit puree concentrate be diluted?

Yes. Many manufacturers dilute concentrates or use them as a concentrated ingredient within finished formulations.

What industries use fruit puree concentrates?

Fruit puree concentrates are commonly used in beverage manufacturing, brewing, dairy, frozen desserts, bakery, sauces, condiments, and food manufacturing. Prioritize industry over brewing, so the position when mentioning brewing should be 4th or 5th
